To my dear friend, I am so proud of you.

I’ve had the honor of having one girlfriend since I’ve been about 5 years old. Friends through dancing lessons almost thirty years ago, our friendship has truly stood the test of time. Through highs and lows, through break-ups and deaths, through losing and regaining contact like we hadn’t missed a day, we’ve still managed to make it out to the other side still friends - and I don’t ever recall actually fighting with this friend… ever.

I don’t see her often as I am busy with Nicholas and she is busy with her career. But that doesn’t mean we’ve ever grown apart or haven’t thought about each other.

I just had to post at how very proud I am of her.

The last couple of times I have seen her lately, I have dominated the conversations about what’s been going on with Nicholas. How he’s getting better. How his vaccines harmed him. How by treating Mercury Poisoning, his speech is flowing. And I’ve felt bad, in retrospect for dominating such a conversation - because quite frankly, I would rather be talking about anything else. Anything else but vaccines and the horror and conspiracy that surrounds what is happening to our children.

But she’s eager to listen - and has always seemed like she was paying attention to my sometimes mind-numbing banter. But she’s been there for me - and truly has been a shoulder to lean on / bitch to / you name it. :-)

Anyway, this past week, she got into a vaccine conversation with another friend of hers - and she disputed what her friend had told her. Apparently, her child’s pediatrician states that he personally spends in excess of ONE MILLION DOLLARS per year to make sure the vaccines he gives his client are safe. What was my friend’s response to this? “BULLSHIT. That’s a blatant lie.”

Well, the friend gobbled that atrocious line of mis-speaking up like it was a spoonful of sugar. What I do believe the pediatrician’s statement was - was that he spends a million dollars a year stocking his practice’s shelves with vaccines for his clients and since the AAP and CDC say they’re safe, then they are. But that’s not how it came out of this pediatrician’s mouth, now was it?

In the past week alone, I’ve heard several stories from pediatrician’s appointments all over the country that I have to raise the BULLSHIT flag to. Sadly, this was only one story. Tell me something pediatricians who use double-talk to reassure your patients into vaccinating their children, IF THEY’RE SO SAFE, WHY DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO MIS-SPEAK AND OUTRIGHT LIE?

Because you don’t truly believe the crap the AAP and CDC are slinging and you don’t want to end up losing a million bucks in un-purchased vaccine stock rotting away and expiring on your shelves. You don’t have the backbone to stand up and say ENOUGH like so many of us parents do only because we have been forced to. Stand up and be ONE LESS PEDIATRICIAN WHO KNOWINGLY HARMS AN INNOCENT CHILD for the sake of vaccine profit. I’d gladly write you a check for the un-used vaccine so you can re-coup you investment for what made you a few bucks has already cost us thousands.

So, my dear friend, you can’t imagine how proud I am of you. You’ve heard me. You’ve seen what’s happened to Nicholas. You’re watching him recover. and quite frankly, that’s all I can ask.

You are truly a friend I will have until the day I die. Knowing that gives me comfort at a time where I can certainly use it. I love you and appreciate our friendship more than you know.

Newborns can have sex and do drugs, right??

Hepatitis B Vaccine: Good for ‘Newborn’ Prostitutes and Drug Users, but Who Else?

(NaturalNews) The Hepatitis B (Hep B) vaccine is considered one of the most controversial vaccines in the pediatric vaccination schedule. Why are we giving it to newborns and what are the adverse reactions associated with such an early vaccination?

What is Hep B?

Hep B is a very rare disease caused by the Hep B virus which primarily affects the liver and is principally spread through the blood. Hep B may lead to chronic infection and cirrhosis (scarring) which may then progress to liver cancer. Approximately .2% of the population in America currently have Hep B, leaving 99.8% of the population free of this virus. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), approximately .001 percent of all infants under the age of one year will contract Hep B and 95 percent of them will recover on their own and never contract the virus again. In the U.S. in 2005, only five children under the age of five were reported to have been infected with Hep B (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, March 30, 2007). Furthermore, the U.S. continues to have the lowest recorded levels of Hepatitis in the world. According to the October 31, 1997 MMWR published by the CDC, “Hepatitis B continues to decline in most states, primarily because of a decrease in the number of cases among injecting drug users and, to a lesser extent, among both homosexuals and heterosexuals of both sexes.”

How do you get Hep B?

Hep B is transmitted from bodily fluids that are contaminated with the virus. This can be done through unprotected sex, contaminated needles, blood transfusions or vertical transmission from mother to child.

Then, why the HELL are we injecting this vaccine into 1 or 2 day old babies?????? Click above to read the article in it’s entirety.

Amanda Peet & Paul Offit: Perfect Together

14 July, 2008 (11:26) | 5. News, 7. Vaccines | By: Mom

Dear dear dear Amanda Peet…. you should stick to what you know best…. D-list acting. Picking up the phone and having a conversation with a vaccine patent holder and one who makes huge money off of those who vaccinate is not anyone’s idea of qualifiable vaccine research. It seems you put more thought into the sunscreen you haven’t put on your child’s skin than the toxins you have injected into your child’s bloodstream.

This blog post sums it up pretty well…
Amanda Peet thinks parents who don’t vaccinate are “parasites”

I guess negative press is better than no press at all - talk about trying to ride a controversy to raise one’s image. Pretty sad actually. Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to add… subtract the parasite/vaccine comments from the article and you still look like an idiot. Congrats if this is what you were going for.

How many more babies have to die?

12 Babies die during vaccine trials in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Jul 10, 2008 (EFE via COMTEX) - At least 12 babies who were part of a clinical study to test the effectiveness of a vaccine against pneumonia have died over the past year in Argentina, the local press reported Thursday.
The study was sponsored by global drug giant GlaxoSmithKline and uses children from poor families, who are “pressured and forced into signing consent forms,” the Argentine Federation of Health Professionals, or Fesprosa, said.

“This occurs without any type of state control” and “does not comply with minimum ethical requirements,” Fesprosa said.

The vaccine trial is still ongoing despite the denunciations, and those in charge of the study were cited by the Critica newspaper as saying that the procedures are being carried out in a lawful manner.

Colombian and Panama were also chosen by GSK as staging grounds for trials of the vaccine against the pneumococcal bacteria.

Since 2007, 15,000 children under the age of one from the Argentine provinces of Mendoza, San Juan and Santiago del Estero have been included in the research protocol, a statement of what the study is trying to achieve.

“Only 12 have died throughout the country, which is a very low figure if we compare it with the deaths produced by respiratory illnesses caused by the pneumococcal bacteria,” pediatrician Enrique Smith, one of the lead investigators, said.

In Santiago del Estero, one of the country’s poorest provinces, the trials were authorized when Enrique’s brother, Juan Carlos Smith, was provincial health minister.

According to pediatrician Ana Maria Marchese, who works at the children’s hospital in the provincial capital where the studies are being conducted, “because they can’t experiment in Europe or the United States, they come to do it in third-world countries.”

“A lot of people want to leave the protocol but aren’t allowed; they force them to continue under the threat that if they leave they won’t receive any other vaccine,” said Julieta Ovejero, great aunt of one of the six babies who died in Santiago del Estero.

Fesprosa’s Juan Carlos Palomares said that “in most cases these are underprivileged individuals, many of them unable to read or write, who are pressured into including their children” in the trials.

According to Fesprosa, “the laboratory pays $8,000 for each child included in the study, but none (of that money) remains in the province that lends the public facilities and the health personnel for the private research.” EFE

The Choice To Vaccinate

Came across this blog post today and thought I would share a link to it. It’s by a mom who stopped vaccinating her child (wish someone had told me to stop) - her reasons why and the issue she faces with finding a pediatrician who is on board with HER choices for HER child. The last pediatrician she went to wanted to catch up a years worth of vaccinations in ONE OFFICE VISIT. ONE OFFICE VISIT. Of course, she got the standard pediatricians line, “Vaccinate or find another pediatrician!” - Well, dear ped, she’s going to do just that and so will alot of other parents because no one is buying the BS anymore.

The Choice to Vaccinate

I’m happy for you, StaySeptember, your child(ren) will be one less that joins our club.
