September 4th, 2008 
Mom So, today was Nicholas’s first day of school. The last couple of days, we’ve been talking about the school bus coming and him going to school again – and he’s been getting excited about going on the bus again. Today, he was apprehensive until he saw that bus – then it was love at first site.
He came home smiling and happy and today’s been the best day in a long time. He helped me do laundry and hang hangers tonight and has been the calmest, most content Nicholas I’ve seen in a long time. He told me several times that he did coloring at school (which I know is true because they sent home his artwork.)

He’s a cutie! Now that I see that pic I have to ask – do a lot of his clothes have horizontal stripes? 🙂 It seems like SO MANY of my boys’ clothes do.
