Day Two on Threelac

I think we need to lower the dose for a while and ramp up to a full package per day – one pack a day is much too much.   Clearly, it’s doing something good or else we wouldn’t be seeing such a strong die-off effect.  Nicholas is literally bouncing off the walls.  Last night, it was 3am by the time we finally got him in bed for the night and it was almost 1am tonight.  This was after 3 hours of screaming, temper tantrums, you name it.  It was BAD.  I’m thinking about a couple of different options, one being to give it a break for a few days, then try again on 1/4 package 2x per day.  Following it with some Activated Charcoal to mop up the toxins might not be such a bad idea either.   OR to just break it down to 2x a day 1/2 package each time, followed by the Activated Charcoal – and see if that makes any difference, if not, drop it down to 1/4 package 2x/day.

Threelac

Nicholas started taking Threelac today…   keeping my fingers crossed that it evicts the yeast.  We may already be seeing yeast die-off symptoms, so we’ll see…..

Children with Starving Brains

Children with Starving Brains: A Medical Treatment Guide for Autism Spectrum Disorder by Jaquelyn McCandless

I consider this book to be one of my “bibles” for healing my son.  I’m grateful each time I flip through it that it exists as it has been instrumental at helping me make decisions regarding his treatment.  I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a child on the spectrum.

Video: Jenny McCarthy’s Call to the CDC

All he says is Hi!

Still not feeling well, but is now saying Hi.

We asked for it. 🙂 I could hear it a million times.

We finally heard “hi”

I gave Nicholas his shot first thing as we woke up and changed his diaper. He’s putting 24 piece puzzles together pretty much by himself. Repeating LOTS of words. He is finally saying Hi and juice. He’s starting to get a cold. Runny nose, coughing. Had temper tantrum from hell all the way home from the mall – screamed the whole time. Phony laughing thing started a few days ago – think big belly laughs, but totally fake. (Think Revenge of the Nerds like phony laughing)

If you know us at all, you know how big “hi” is – it’s freakin huge!!!!!!!! How one little two letter word can be such a victory – it’s just amazing. and he gave us JUICE on top of it. Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!

No shot last night.

No school today.

Nicholas woke up several times during the night when I attempted to give him his shot. I could not get it into him.

I’m going to take this over there.

No school today. Nicholas pointed at eggs on top of the stove and said ‘eggs” when I asked if he wanted ketchup, he repeated ketchup! He seems more alert, seeming to calm down a bit, now that he’s back on the vitamins/minerals. He said something which really sounded like “I’m going to take this over there”

School

Had to carry Nicholas all the way into school today. He will just not walk into the school or classroom anymore. Teacher says he’s done by 2pm (which is only 1.5 hours into the class. I think it may be hunger – I’m going to adjust his wake time & breakfast/lunch times.

He said “now” for the first time today. “Pull Now” is what he said. (instead of open now)
