Bye-bye Microwave

Well, it’s official. Our home is microwave-free. Just another step towards a healthier life for us and Nicholas.

I have been disliking microwaves for quite some time now - and have been waiting to toss it until I could afford to spend some extra money on a new toaster oven - and since the Santas in my life were quite generous this year :) - I just picked this up from Williams Sonoma (along with my new juicer - but I’ll save that for another thread!)

Breville Countertop Convection Oven

I’m going to come back and add the info on Microwaves I found when I have a chance. I couldn’t even read through it all, it just made me ill.

Yea please post the microwave information… its so hard to convince my family the truth about microwaves.

Congratulations on your new oven ! Enjoy !

Oh one more thing - how do you reheat food without microwave now?

I’ll either use my oven or the new toaster oven (which is also convection - very cool). It’ll be a pit of a pain to get used to, but what can you do?
