Biomed that brought us WOWs

Mom A couple of people have emailed me asking this question…. Of all the biomed you’ve tried, what gave you the biggest WOWs?
Nicholas’s progress, in general, is a huge WOW – and it took alot of supplements to get us here — but out of everything we do or have done, these are the biggies… what I would consider to be the “we know without a shadow of doubt that these were directly responsible for incredible gains that followed” kind of wows, you know, the ones which gave us some amazing instant gratification.
The first wow had to be my introduction into the biomed world and that was Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil. In less than 2 weeks, my silent (non-verbal, non-babbling) 2 year old started babbling like no tomorrow. It was this first experiment in which I felt all I had to lose was the twenty bucks the bottle cost which launched me into knowing biomed was the way to go to help recover my son. Because I was skeptical – twice, I stopped giving the CLO – and twice he went back to being the silent, non-babbling child.
The second wow was mb-12 injections. After his first shot, he was repeating words like dinosaur – which were at that time — very complex for him.
The third wow was mild HBOT. Days into starting the protocol of 2x per day 1.5 hours each time, he was starting to string together more and more words. He seemed much clearer. You can do a search of hbot and it will pull up my posts on it — but I have said that doing this therapy was life changing for us.
The fourth wow was low and frequent dose chelation (the Andy Cutler protocol) of low dosing every 3-4 hours from Friday afternoon through Monday morning. We just completed our 24th round and these past 6 months have been life changing in ways I never thought imaginable — not even after our successes with other supplements.
The fifth wow has been Enhansa (Enhansed Curcumin from Lee Silsby) and he’s only getting 1/2 the daily dose so far. I’m excited to see what comes as we increase the dose.
Others which I feel were more subdued and not as obvious were doing a trial of increasing his DMG to 9 capsules per day (yes nine – it’s breaking the bank!) and the addition of Acetyl-L-Carnitine.

On February 12, the federal “Vaccine Court” in Washington issued a sweeping ruling in three highly touted “test cases” against families who claimed that their childrens’ autism had been caused by vaccines. The Special Masters in those three cases found that Petitioners failed to establish causation between MMR vaccines, the mercury-laced vaccine preservative thimerosal, and autism (the court decision, which is under appeal, deferred any finding on a thimerosal-only theory of causation). The rulings could have a significant precedential impact on some 5,000 families who opted to bring their cases in the Omnibus Autism Proceedings (OAP) hoping that the vaccine court would officially hold that the MMR vaccine or thimerosal had caused autism in their children.
Scam warning: Dr. Moulden’s DVD
February 23rd, 2009 Mom just wanted to post this in case anyone has been following Dr Moulden and was interested in purchasing his DVD. Well, don’t waste your money. I ordered this in December and as of today, have yet to receive this. On inquiring over a month ago as to when I was going to receive it, I was told it would be mailed that weekend? weeks later, I have yet to receive it. (I have not received a refund either.)
In case I do ever receive this DVD, I will retract this post and let you all know – but for now, I gotta say that this has had to have been one pretty clever scam.
I hope he proves me wrong, but I’m not holding my breath.
March 24, 2009: Just wanted to provide an update since I’ve been getting emails about this – No, I have not received the DVD that I paid for in December 2008. I have not received a refund that I requested well over a month ago, nor have I received a response to that request.
Update: After months and months of waiting, I finally did receive Dr Moulden’s DVD. He never communicated back with me that it had been shipped. And never responded to me again after I requested a refund. Out of the blue on October 14th, 2009 – I received a message on my facebook email from someone I had never met or did not know offering to send me a copy of his DVD and another one. When I asked this person if she was a member of his team now (because she was making excuses for him), she never responded again. Sound familiar?
Nicholas tattled on Daddy!
February 23rd, 2009 Mom I could hardly believe this. Grandpa and Grandpa came over yesterday and I hear Nicholas in the other room talking to Grandma. He told her that Daddy dumped the soda down the drain and mommy said it was because it was not good for us. LOVE IT!
New Multi-Vitamin
February 23rd, 2009 Mom With Nicholas being less and less eager to drink his stuff lately, I was on the lookout for a new multi-vitamin — and have been giving him a new one for the past week with no issues whatsoever. And, it’s SO MUCH cheaper than the brainchild formulas, so that is a huge plus!

Some folks reported it was chalky, but I tried both the powder and capsule forms and neither was an issue here – I dont know how much water they were mixing it with, but I tried 2 ounces of water for 2 capsules and had no problems. Nicholas gets 4 vitamin drinks per day, 3 of which has 2 capsules of this supplement mixed with his other supplements, some water and some pear juice.

Nicholas has adrenal fatigue – I had tried this ages ago, but he reacted bad to it, so we’ve been trying it again and so far so good.
Nicholas has a freckle-looking rash!
February 23rd, 2009 Mom Last night, Nicholas’s face looked like it was dirty from something. After looking more closely, it looked like he was starting to get freckles. This afternoon, when he got home from school, it was coming from under his ear, up the sides of his face and across his cheekbone and a spot on his forehead. It’s like little brown and red freckle marks, but they dont look like freckles.
