Round 4 complete!

We finished round 4 yesterday and Nicholas is doing quite well. Despite the fact that they say oral chelation would kick up yeast, I am not seeing any additional yeast that he didn’t already have.

A few weeks ago, I bought Nicholas this wooden erector-type set from Ikea and he wanted to open it last night. He sat with his Daddy at the dining room table for the longest time while they built the different toys that you could build with this set. A motorcycle, an airplane, a helicopter and a front-end loader. After each one was built, he played with it for a bit and then pointed out the next toy on the instruction booklet for Daddy to put that one together. The patience that he had while Daddy was putting it together was amazing. I don’t think this would have happened a month ago.

Again, we witnessed the same thing this weekend. By Sunday, Nicholas is a different child (last week this lasted until about Wednesday)- he wants us to play with him and he’s seeks out interaction with us and those around us. He asked me 5 times last night to “come and play mommy” 🙂

Last night I got him to string together, “can I have some of your iced tea please mommy?” – he seems eager to learn the words and use them. He doesn’t just give up and forget about what he’s asking for when I make him ask for it like he used to.
