After 6 weeks on mb-12 shots

Nicholas has been getting mb-12 shots every 3rd day since November 3, 2007. We all believe Nicholas’s changes are significant. Significant because we feel like we have a different child since we started these shots. (By we, I mean parents and all grandparents) We started seeing improvements in his speech the day after the first […]

A dog! A dog!

He finally “sees” Max, my parents bichon.  He’s been here all along – and he never really paid him any attention.  Now, he’s pointing at him, trying to pet him – all while saying “a dog!  a dog!” and he’s even calling him Max FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

Great day at school!

So, I had his follow up a the dr today, but I left him at home so I could get through my huge list of questions.  I literally raced home – to find him still sleeping at 12:15pm!!!!!!!!!!!  Shoot.  School starts at 12:35.  So, I literally stripped him down, dressed him, gave him some juice […]

Summary of today’s appointment

Today’s appointment with Nicholas’s doctor was AWESOME.  I know I’m on the right track with him, but it’s so nice to have someone who treats lots of kids confirm your thoughts.  It gave me the “I won the lottery” high – which lasted pretty much all day.  Fantastic!  Anyway, here’s the stuff we’re changing/adding: MB-12 has […]

He knows more than we think he does….

Nicholas is calling his TV character friends by name.  He says Bye Joe, Bye Steve – and points at Blue and says “Blue” He’s saying Dora’s name.  (We’re working on diego) And he’s saying ‘Thomas!” when he sees Thomas come on TV.  Awesome!!!  Just awesome!

Bring on the Geotrax!

Nicholas sat in McDonalds and ate lunch – no temper tantrums. Even went to the bathroom with me so I could change his diaper and he even washed his hands. We brought a bin of geotrax down from the attic. Nicholas played with it from 8pm until 2am! And he would have played longer had […]

Fantastic Week at School!

Nicholas had a FANTASTIC week at school. By Friday, he was walking into the school, instead of me carrying him – and was walking through the halls to his classroom. His clarity has hit another level – the threelac has been clearing out the yeast – wonderful! Although, he started off pooping a lot, but […]

School Update

Talked to Nicholas’s teacher – she says he burns out at around 2pm. She says he loves circle time and laughs and sings with all of the kids. Some days they get 15 minutes of lessons with him, which is good, and other days he doesn’t tolerate it at all.

Best day ever!

Gave MB-12 shot this morning – When I picked him up from school, aide asked what I did because it was his best day ever.

Poor little guy

Warning: Poop-talk Nicholas’s poop shows tell-tale signs of yeast – little air holes everywhere. Poor thing pooped more than anything today.
