So, I saw these Cars sheets in Target I just had to get for Nicholas’s bed. Chock full of toxic chemicals, I’m sure, but hey, every once in a while, he needs something fun too. (PS – wash anything like this in Arm & Hammer laundry detergent to get the flame retardants out of them […]

How do I get all of those supplements into Nicholas??
July 22nd, 2008
Mom Well, it’s no easy task, but it’s gotten easier as time goes on. My biggest recommendation to anyone is to open the capsules and taste what’s inside if you’re mixing stuff with juice/liquids. Stuff that has no taste is a no brainer – mix it with anything. Stuff that tastes good isn’t too much of […]
My little man is quite the trooper!
July 22nd, 2008
Mom So, earlier Monday, Nicholas started grabbing the box of band-aids and saying boo-boo and pointing to his foot. At first we thought it was him kidding around, but it continued for quite some time. Then he started not putting his foot down and putting weight on it. We tried to keep ice on it, but […]
Drive Mommy!
July 21st, 2008
Mom Trying to figure out what the deal is with Nicholas and the car. He wants to get in the car and drive, but we can’t get a destination out of him if we stood on our head and turned blue. He did it to me over the weekend, “drive mommy” “where nicholas?” “drive” “want to […]

Mom I started Nicholas on IP6 & Inositol today to see if it has an effect on him. IP6 & Inositol apparently will remove excess iron from your blood, so if Nicholas is iron-overloaded, which he very well may be, we should see some gains.
Did too much iron during pregnancy…

Mom …play a role in Nicholas not being able to detox the toxins from his vaccinations? I have to wonder……(please note: I am ‘thinking out loud’ here while reading a ton of research and just posting my thoughts so I can keep them straight) So, the one time in my life when I religiously took vitamins […]
Hey Michelle
July 17th, 2008
Mom Ok, so Nicholas knows my name. I guess if “mommy” doesn’t work, “michelle” will. He’s been walking around saying “Hey Michelle” Yeah buddy, I worked too hard to earn the title of Mommy, so give it a few more years please. 🙂 Thanks buddy. “Mommy” loves you.
To my dear friend, I am so proud of you.

Mom I’ve had the honor of having one girlfriend since I’ve been about 5 years old. Friends through dancing lessons almost thirty years ago, our friendship has truly stood the test of time. Through highs and lows, through break-ups and deaths, through losing and regaining contact like we hadn’t missed a day, we’ve still managed to […]
