So, today is what we’re calling Naked Nicholas day. We’re letting him run around naked from the waist down to get him potty trained, or so we hope. He did SO well today. He peed on the potty 7 or 8 times….. no pooping there as of yet, but we’ll get there!

Weekend Update
June 23rd, 2008
Mom So, Friday night, Grandpa and Grandma picked Nicholas up for his big first over-nighter away from home without either Mommy or Daddy. After we loaded up their car, Nicholas got in and was ready to go. Grandpa commented on how much stuff Nicholas travels with (his bedrail, clothes, supplements, toys and videos..) and Daddy said, […]
Splish splash…
June 19th, 2008
Mom So, another great day is behind us. 🙂 Nicholas’s talking is incredible. Everyday, we seem to be getting more out of him. He no longer wishes to play alone for long periods of time. He’ll play by himself for a good long time, but once he’s done, he wants us to give him our undivided […]
Another Great Day!
June 18th, 2008
Mom Nicholas had a great day today. He was funny, chatty and his smile was shining so bright, he just lit up the house! He is very excited that his spaceship has returned. Daddy and Mommy had been unpacking everything and setting it up. It smells a bit, so we’re trying to off-gas it as much […]
Report Card Day
June 18th, 2008
Mom From Nicholas’s teacher: Nicholas is blossoming everyday. He is now really saying some individual words clearly and he surprises us with them. During circle time some children get a choice to bounce on a ball sitting or upside down. He would never verbalize but he would yell if he was bounced. The other day he […]

Mom So today was an interesting day….. When I went into Nicholas’s room this morning to bring him his morning cocktail, he was awake and smiling at me (which he usually is not) – and was playing a shy hide game under the covers. So, I took the opportunity and jumped in bed with him. It […]

June 16th, 2008
Mom The last day of school is this week, so today, I was invited to a pizza and ice cream party at Nicholas’s school. When I got there and located Nicholas in a sea of other kids and parents, he was THRILLED to see me. He wanted me to immediately come and sit with him – […]
Happy Father’s Day!
June 15th, 2008
Mom It’s Father’s Day and my two boys (Nicholas and Daddy) are still sleeping. Dinner has been seared and is slow cooking and I’m doing some work catching up on Nicholas’s blog…. I just wanted to say Happy Father’s day to daddy and grandpas in this special little boy’s life. You bring such fun and happiness to his […]
Keep ’em coming….
June 15th, 2008
Mom Nicholas now loves his Diego pinball machine that Grandma bought him for Christmas last year.  He’s been playing with it over the past couple of days – and now he’s asking mommy and daddy to play to – but wait, there is a catch. He loves the way one of the things spins around when […]
Vitamins and Minerals and supplements, oh my!
June 14th, 2008
Mom Been meaning to write this out for a while…. bear with me – this is a work in progress. I just wanted a space to keep all of my reasons for starting Nicholas on a particular supplement. If it’s listed here, it’s because it works for him. PS – If you’re reading my blog to help your […]
